Find these answers and more in Creatures of Planet Earth, an original braintrain venture that explores the science of animal adaptations.

In each session, learners will explore the strange and inventive ways that earth’s creatures big and small have adapted to survive in their environments. They will learn how different species thrive in often harsh environments filled with predators, prey and climate challenges. Learners will develop an understanding of the three basic types of adaptations and look at theories explaining how they come to be. They will then work to construct and evaluate distinctive environments to see which adaptations work best in disparate surroundings. Then, they’ll take on the ultimate creative challenge – designing and naming their own unique animal – which they will use to try to save the world in a high stakes game of survival of the fittest!
