Go behind the curtain in this challenging and fun escape room-themed venture. Learners will put their wits to the test to try and escape from several different rooms, collaborating on strategy and working together to solve a mix of logic puzzles, word games, riddles, ciphers and more – under the time pressure of a ticking clock – to escape! Once the group gains familiarity with escape rooms, they are taken behind the curtain and explore the elements that go into the development of rooms like theme, design, type of puzzles, timing, difficulty levels, success rates, collaboration elements and more. Learners will then work together under the guidance of the conductor to create their own unique room using what they’ve learned. Then, the ultimate test – can they “beat the champs”? On the last day they will try to beat a previous group’s room. If they do, they will have a chance to become the new champs. But it may not be so easy…

Think Outside the Box is a stimulating and fun way for kids to stretch their creative muscles and progress along a higher order level of thinking – moving from playing a game to understand the underlying strategy to creating one for others.
